We did nothing today except sit on the beach under a palm-leaf shelter, play in the sea and make the most of the Hotel Gran Melia's fine swimming pool. The sea is so clear that even when the waves come crashing over your head you can still see right through them.

Really, that's it. Supper at a tacky American restaurant, internet at the hostel for an hour or so, and bed.
