Sunday 29th August - KL to Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands
A long, and slightly uncomfortable bus ride up into the mountains. Then it rained and we had cream tea in the garden.

A cold bus, a hot wait for a boat and then a three-hour trip up the river into the jungle. We saw monkeys.

Friday 3rd September - Kuala Tahan
A rope bridge walk through the jungle canopy, a bit of a trek through the forest, a wander through the village of Kuala Tahan and then we floated down the river on bus tyre inner tubes.

Back to KL, the city we've been to most often on this trip! Then off to the Menara Kuala Lumpur for a night view of the city and Chinatown for some character.
