On the toy train from NJP to Darjeeling we saw monkeys sitting by the side of the road. Unfortunately they wouldn't wave at us like all of the little children did.

The mountain view we had from our room in Darjeeling. The pointy one in the middle is the third highest peak in the world.

This the view we had of Darjeeling itself. You can't tell from up here but it's nicer than Delhi or Varanasi.

On top of observatory hill we found a park a bit like a Buddha shrine amusement land. These flags hanging in the trees looked nice, if a little weather worn.
