Just a small number of terracotta statues in Pit 1.

Still in Pit 1 we have a view across the many rows of warriors that have already been unearthed.

This should give you an idea of how big Pit 1 is. Towards the back are the ares that are still being worked on.

Many of the figures were broken or damaged in some way and have been glued back together at the back of the pit.

There are horse figures too.

This is Pit 2, smaller and much less excavated than Pit 1 but equally impressive.

This is almost half of Pit 3. Pretty much everything has been cleaned up...

...except for this small section. It may even have been left like this on purpose.
