The sunset that we saw in Hangzhou was stunning. Needless to say, this is just one of many photos!

It even made the water a nice colour.

Back in Shanghai we visited the jade buddha temple. I don't have any photos of the buddha because we weren't allowed. This was taken outside. We managed to arrive on a day that was either the 1st or the 15th day of a lunar month and lots of people were there to pray and burn offerings. No animals were harmed (that goes against buddhist beliefs anyway), these were little bits of silver backed paper that were folded in to boat-like shapes.
