Cape Reinga is the northern-most point in New Zealand. The Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet here.

Just off shore there was a cloud sitting there and raining.

There's a lighthouse there too.

This is Tane Mahuta (God of the Forest), a Kauri tree. This is the largest Kauri tree in New Zealand and it stands at over 50m tall. The trunk has a girth of over 13m. It's big. It's also about 2000 years old.

The Auckland harbour bridge as seen from the Sky Tower (a whopping 8m taller than the Eifel Tower).

There are some 38mm glass panels in the floor that you can stand on.

Don't look down

It's a long way down. Although we didn't see any, people jump off this tower for fun. Freaks.

Auckland has its own volcano called Mount Eden. In the background you can see the Sky Tower.

Further south in the town of Matamata. From here you can take a tour of the Hobbiton set. Of course we did.
