When it rains in Milford Sound, there are waterfalls everywhere.
It was a shame that it was so cloudy on our first (and supposedly only) day there.
Still, some wild dolphins were only too delighted to receive a ride from the boat we were on.
On a slightly nicer day, we walked to the Bowen falls. Near the foot of the falls are several graves and memorials. It's a little bit disturbing.
On one of our subsequent days in Milford Sound, the skies cleared and the only clouds were formed by the sun melting the snow from the mountain tops.
With the skies clear and the sun out, you can begin to see why people come here.
The same sort of view again but this time with the full reflection of the mountain. It really is stunning. The picture doesn't do the place justice.
