This inconspicuous building is the Chocolate Fish Café in a suburb of Wellington. Besides being really yummy and having many chocolate desserts, it was also a favourite hobbit haunt.

On to the south island now. This is Cloudy Bay. It is in one of the wine producing regions of New Zealand and a there is a vineyard named after it.

Since they were open, we popped in and tried a few wines.

This was about all the cloud we had during the first few days on the south island.

This is a Kea. They can make a lot of noise and can occasionally be a bit cheeky.

Our route across the glacier took us through some crevasses and the odd tunnel.
